Couples Therapy
Taking the step to start couples therapy is an act of shared courage and a vital investment in your relationship’s well-being. As your therapist, my goal is to provide a dedicated, confidential space where you can explore your unique dynamic, safely process difficult emotions, and work together toward a more fulfilling, connected life.

Fees & Insurance: Couples Therapy
I believe in absolute transparency and removing the financial guesswork from your relationship healing, allowing you and your partner to focus entirely on reconnecting.
💳 Using Your Insurance
I partner with Alma to handle my insurance billing. If you choose to use your network benefits for relationship counseling, your exact out-of-pocket responsibility (such as a copay or coinsurance) is determined entirely by your insurance company.
A Note on Coverage: Please be aware that many health insurance plans do not automatically cover couples therapy unless it is deemed medically necessary to treat a diagnosed mental health condition for one partner. We can run your details through Alma’s Cost Estimator Tool before our first session to verify your specific coverage. [1]
🔒 Private Pay / Out-of-Network
I reserve a dedicated number of weekly openings for couples who do not carry a compatible insurance plan, whose plans do not cover relationship counseling, or who simply prefer the heightened privacy of paying out-of-pocket.
Because I provide specialized virtual care across multiple regions, couples investment rates are scaled to reflect the standard operational costs of your resident state:
New York Couples: $250 per 50-minute session
Tennessee Couples: $175 per 50-minute session
If you are paying out-of-pocket but carry a PPO insurance plan that includes marriage or family counseling benefits, I can readily issue a monthly superbill for you to submit to your provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. [1]
My Approach
Choosing to learn more about couples therapy is the first step toward a deeper understanding of your relationship. My practice is built on a simple, liberating truth for both of you: you are not broken, you are human.
Many of the repetitive arguments, defensive walls, or emotional disconnections you experience as a couple today were actually smart survival tools developed by your individual younger selves. In our work together, we don’t shame these protective habits. We learn to understand them. We look at them with compassion, normalize them, and gently upgrade them so you can safely reconnect.
Simple ideas
Therapy doesn't have to be complicated. My practice is built on a few straightforward, liberating concepts that guide how we decode your relationship dynamic and navigate your path forward together.
Lasting impact
By understanding the childhood blueprints you each brought into the relationship and learning to navigate your emotional waves as a team, you will both walk away with deep self-compassion and practical tools that stick with you for life. True healing happens when you stop fighting your dynamic, stop blame-shifting, and finally feel safe, connected, and at home in your relationship.
Our Sessions
I bring a unique lens to our work, combining deep, compassionate empathy with the ability to see and understand your relationship from perspectives others might miss—allowing each of you to truly understand your partner and foster a deeper, more intimate connection. In our sessions, there is no judgment—only room for both of your true human experiences. I honor your unique pace as a couple, intuitively knowing when you need a gentle push to break through old communication loops, and when you simply need me to sit with you in quiet, supportive silence as you process together.
